Pitcher in barbotine of st. Clement.perfect vintage condition. Rich coloring and glaze. A great way to decorate a table. The history of saint-clément pottery is long, dating back to the mid-1700s, when it was founded by jacques chambrette, producing traditional french earthenware. Saint-clément became a privileged supplier to queen marie-antoinette. The st. Clement's slurry is characterized by the subtle nuances of colors. Slurry pieces include a series of figurative jugs or pitchers of absinthe in the form of a duck with folded wings, a rooster or a parrot. Other animals can also be found, such as a pig, rabbit, cat, monkey or poodle, but are rarer. Older pitchers have mostly 3-digit numbers while new productions have 4-digit numbers. They were mainly produced in the 1920s and 1930s. These are all very beautiful historical pieces of fabulous pottery of saint-clément. The color of the physical object may differ slightly from that of the object as presented online. Height: 24 cm. Length: 14 cm. Width: 10 cm. Weight: 0, 800 kg. Perfect condition.
