Cloisonne Brass champagne bucket with sunflower relief decoration

A beautiful vintage French brass champagne bucket with a wonderfully warm golden finish and raised sunflower decoration. The large embossed flowers stand proudly against a soft verdigris green background, giving the piece an elegant aged look inspired by Art Nouveau floral designs. The wide rolled rim, pedestal foot and rounded brass side handles create a classic French silhouette that looks equally lovely on a dining table, bar cart or country kitchen. Originally made as a champagne cooler, it also works beautifully as a vase, planter or decorative display piece. The brass has developed a lovely natural patina over the years, adding warmth and character.
