A very pretty vintage bottle, jug, or carafe from the 1960s-70s, in the style of Digoin/Sarreguemines, made of camel-colored glazed ceramic (pinker than it appears in the photos), stoneware-style, with a charming little side handle and its original ceramic and artificial cork stopper (cork-like plastic). Slender cylindrical shape, high shoulder, narrow neck, matching ball stopper. Fine speckled glaze typical of utilitarian earthenware from this period. Very decorative, purely rustic Mid-Century style and typically French. Total height 28 cm, 24 cm without stopper, diameter 8 cm, width with handle approximately 12 cm. In very good condition; the bottom of the stopper has been shaved down for easier use, which is not a problem; the bottom of the stopper's ball has a discreet chip. Nothing else to note about the bottle. Approximately 800 g.
