Pair of vintage velvet upholstered pedestal tables – 1950s, 44 cm high

Charming pair of pedestal tables or small side tables from the 1950s, upholstered in velvet fabric and decorative braid. Each piece features a curved tripod silhouette with a lower shelf and a round top measuring 30 cm in diameter and 44 cm high. The first pedestal table is upholstered in golden ochre corduroy, embellished with a tone-on-tone looped braid fringe. The second, in a softer beige shade, is adorned with sea green tassels along the top and braid woven in cream and olive tones. The ensemble evokes a theatrical style typical of the mid-20th century, with inspiration from both boudoir and folk art. Ideal as mismatched bedside tables, sofa ends, or to enhance a reading nook. Overall condition: Good structural condition, stable and solid.
