Elegant chocolate brown glazed stoneware tea pot, made by La Poterie des Mottes, located in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, a mecca of French ceramics. Founded in 1922 by Fernand Normand, the pottery maintained its renowned artisanal expertise in glazed stoneware until it ceased production in 1998. This 1970s model features an engraved floral decoration enhanced with a blue-green glaze, typical of the workshop's poetic rustic style. Stamped under the base: La Poterie des Mottes – Made in France. Diameter 11.5 cm, height 14 cm, depth 12.5 cm. Very good vintage condition. Perfect for a wabi-sabi interior or a slow-deco atmosphere. A blend of history and authenticity, it's perfect for storing tea, infusions, or small treasures.
