Green blown glass vase

For sale is a magnificent large vintage blown glass art vase from the 1960s-1970s. It stands out with its stunning intense emerald green colour, generous shape, and flared neck with wavy edges shaped by heat (handkerchief neck style). Dimensions and Weight: Height: 29.5 cm, maximum diameter: 19 cm, weight: 2.174 kg (very thick and solid glass, a sign of high-quality artisanal craftsmanship). Quality and Authenticity: This is a beautiful artisanal production from Italy (Murano or Empoli art glass). The underside of the base is perfectly smooth, flat, and features the circular mark of the pontil, ground and polished by hand, characteristic of the work of Italian master glassmakers from the mid-20th century. A slight natural patina of use is visible under the base, confirming its vintage authenticity. No engraved signature, as is the case with most period pieces that bore a simple paper label. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks. The glass is sound, clean, and very bright.
