Cabinet from an ancient château – 17th century

A rare antique wooden cabinet dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century, salvaged from an old Italian castle. A beautifully preserved piece with a strong rustic character and authentic details: an original antique lock, handmade nails, and a traditionally scalloped wooden back, all bearing the marks and imperfections of its long history. The cabinet has been carefully hand-restored in the RIZZI|Materia workshop in Italy, preserving its original character, aged wood, and patina rather than giving it a new appearance. Its simple architectural shape and warm natural wood make it a versatile piece, also suitable for a refined country interior, a mountain home, an eclectic living space, or a collection of antique objects.
