Ceramic panther Saint Radegonde, lioness

One of the shop's favourites! Superb Art Deco animal sculpture from the 1920s-30s, depicting a leaping wildcat amidst tall grasses. It could be a panther, a lioness, or a puma. A piece from the Sainte Radegonde pottery (marked underneath the base). Beautiful polychrome glaze with a shiny appearance. Warm colours of brown, tawny, and English green. Overall in good condition, with only one small chip at the front of the paws, which is barely visible. A piece that has a strong decorative presence due to its size: H24X50X11 cm. Careful shipping guaranteed.
