1970s XL oval Tulip table with brown marble top and matte silver oval base / Eero Saarinen / Knoll, USA

1970s XL oval Tulip table with a brown marble top and a matte silver-coated oval base is an elegant expression of the iconic Tulip design by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Saarinen’s vision emphasizes purity of form through a single sculptural pedestal, highlighting fluid modernist design and material harmony. The richly veined marble top adds natural depth and variation, contrasting with the smooth, industrial base. The piece shows a few small damage spots along the edge of the base, consistent with age, while retaining its strong aesthetic presence and full functionality.
