Panthella table lamp | Louis Poulsen | Verner Panton design | Vintage 70's

A legendary design classic from denmark, the panthella table lamp is a design from verner panton, made by louis poulsen. First created in 1971. I have two of these lamps available, early editions with the round on/off switch in the base. These were probably made late 70's or early 80's. Marked with the original sticker, both on the bottom and near the lamp socket. Both in excellent condition, with only small traces of use. One of the things that makes the panthella lamp so special, is its organic, flowing shapes. The trumpet-shaped base and hemispheric lamp shade form an interesting contrast. The opal acrylic lamp shade casts a soft, enchanting light. The panthella lamp measures 70 centimeter tall, the lamp shade having a diameter of 50 centimeter. Base measures 35 centimeter in diameter. This lamp uses a regular e27 light bulb, 150w max or led. Suited for both 110v or 220v with a eu-spec plug.
