Mid-century minimalist table lamp TYP L 192-1353 by Josef Hurka for Lidokov, 1960s.

Vintage mid-century table lamp by Lidokov based on a design by Josef Hurka from the early 1960s. A minimalist design with a cubist and technical formal language. The chrome stem is particularly finely crafted and is divided into two rods of different lengths. These pass through the lamp head and emerge at the top. The lampshade is made of a mesh sheet. The front is closed with a translucent white acrylic mix to prevent glare from the lamp. The head can be adjusted in height on the stem. The height is fixed by a screw at the back. The colour and shape of the head are echoed in the heavy base. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and a light patina.
