Renovated vintage buffet in Mado style – Celadon Libéron and natural wood – 13

This vintage low sideboard in Mado style, inspired by kitchen furniture from the 1940s-1950s, has been completely renovated to fit into a contemporary interior while retaining its retro charm. Its rounded front has been painted in the Celadon shade from Libéron, a pastel water green with delicately greyed undertones. Soft and bright, this colour subtly changes with the light. The top, wide rounded legs, and round knob handles have been left in natural wood to create a lovely warm contrast. The interior also reveals the original wood, paired with floral and botanical wallpaper in deep blue, beige, and ochre tones. This decor adds an elegant and original finish to each storage space. Particularly functional, this reimagined Mado sideboard includes three doors, several shelves, and two compartmentalised drawers. It offers ample capacity for storing dishes, table linen, provisions, books, games, or various everyday items. This vintage storage piece can be used as a dining room sideboard, kitchen unit, small sideboard, or accent piece in a living room. Its Celadon hue and natural wood finishes allow it to complement both chic country decor and retro, bohemian, or contemporary interiors. A unique piece hand-renovated, this antique furniture retains some light traces of its history that contribute fully to its authenticity. Dimensions: Height: 105 cm. Width: 138 cm. Depth: 45 cm.
