Art Deco bed in walnut – Decorated with stylised flowers – Circa 1930. Elegant Art Deco bed made of wood and wood veneer, probably dating from the 1920s-1930s, featuring particularly decorative and geometric architecture. The headboard, with a curved shape, is rhythmically adorned with mirrored veneer panels, beautifully highlighting the natural grain of the wood. It is framed by vertical posts and fluted patterns typical of the Art Deco vocabulary. The upper part is enhanced by a beautiful carved decoration of stylised flowers, symmetrically arranged on either side of the central motif. The foot of the bed mirrors the same composition with a large central veneer panel, framed by rounded and fluted side elements, creating a harmonious ensemble that is very representative of interwar creations. The bed is presented disassembled in the photographs and includes the headboard, footboard, and long side panels. Beautiful quality of cabinetmaking and superb wood grain.
