Antique Louis Philippe chest of drawers in walnut with white marble.

Chest of drawers with straight and simple lines in the Louis Philippe style, made of walnut with a Carrara marble top, French manufacture, late 19th century. The front of the drawers, sides, and uprights of the piece are in walnut. Natural wood colour with blonde reflections. A total of 4 drawers. The top drawer is shorter and is fitted with 2 wooden pendant handles. The other 3 drawers feature a scalloped brass lock entry in a diamond shape; the locks are original and functional, with 2 keys provided. The top is made of Carrara marble, white with grey veining, with rounded edges and the front corners cut at an angle to match the shape of the feet and uprights of the piece. The base is covered in walnut, with a plinth. The opening and closing of the drawers are smooth; this piece is suitable for daily use. This chest of drawers in the Louis Philippe style and period, very linear, fits all interior styles. Antique chest of drawers in very good condition, sound, stable, and robust.
