Trolley in teak and stained birch with removable double-sided tray and slatted lower shelf. Mid-century Northern European serving trolley from the 1950s–1960s, defined by a light and well-balanced structure typical of modernist production of the period. The construction combines teak elements with parts in stained birch, a material choice commonly found in Scandinavian manufacturing of the post-war years. The top consists of a removable tray, designed to be used separately. It features a double-sided surface: one side in a light laminate, the other in wood finish, allowing for a variation in the surface appearance. The laminate can be linked to the production of the Swedish Perstorp group, widely used in Northern European design during the post-war period. The lower shelf is made of slightly curved wooden slats, a construction detail typical of this type of piece, leaving the woodwork and overall quality of craftsmanship clearly visible. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs. AF898.
