28/621 Swing Arm Wall Lamp By Willem Hagoort For Hagoort Lighting, The Netherlands, 1950S

A spectacular and very rare wall lamp designed by willem hagoort in the 1950s. This lamp features an ingenious balance system that allows the height and depth of the shade to be adjusted. The combination of teakwood and nickel-plated steel, along with the black lampshade, makes this lamp a timeless piece. The vertical mounting system is made of teakwood, as is the tip of the lampshade. Between the teak tip and the metal shade, there is a messing ring, and the end of the shade features an intricate openwork design. This lamp is a true example of dutch modernist design and was created by willem hagoort in 1950. The model 28.621 arc wall lamp is made in the netherlands and shows minimum signs of wear, as evident in the pictures.
