Elegant rectangular Art Deco table from the 1940s, featuring a superb wood veneer top with a geometric diamond pattern, arranged in a marquetry style known as "turning checkerboard" or "diamond point". The top is highlighted by a light-coloured peripheral band that enhances the veneer work and adds a refined touch. The base, composed of four slightly curved legs that bow outward, gives the table a light and harmonious appearance. The structure offers great stability and a charm characteristic of mid-20th century furniture. Two side drawers slide open for storing cutlery or table linen, providing great practicality. Characteristic details: - Top in finely crafted wood veneer, diamond / point pattern - Contrasting inlay around the edge - Peripheral band highlighting the top - Corners reinforced with small decorative metal discs - Curved base typical of the 1940s - Side drawers Beautiful warm brown hue highlighting the wood grain. Solid and elegant structure. Condition: Very good overall condition for its age; some minor marks and wear visible on the top and legs, without affecting aesthetics or use. Dimensions: H76 W176 D90 Delivery available throughout France.
