The iconic Cesca design chair (named after Marcel Breuer's daughter Francesca), also called the B32 model, created in 1928 by Marcel Breuer, is considered one of the first tubular steel chairs to have been designed. Stamped "Made in Italy" underneath. Manufactured in the late 90s (we also have more recent B32s, see our other listings). In glossy black stained beech and natural wicker cane, this chair, both robust and exceptionally comfortable, will add an original and timeless touch to your interior. ✨ Condition: Not a single strand of broken cane and the cane is not sagging like on many of these chairs. The canework is in near perfect condition for the age of these chairs. Renovated chrome in excellent condition as well. The black varnish on the structure is very slightly faded in some places, some light, barely visible marks of time testifying to their almost 30 years of history.
