Table lamp Drive design Adalberto dal Lago for Francesconi

Iconic modernist Space Age "Drive" table lamp, designed by Adalberto Dal Lago (with Adam Tihany) and produced in Italy by Bieffeplast / Francesconi in the 1970s. A collector's item in a rare, hard-to-find bright grass-green ABS plastic. The electrical system has been fully serviced and is 100% operational; the switch works perfectly. The period-style wired glass diffuser has been custom-remade and is included with the lamp; please note the rubber gasket used to secure the glass to the lampshade is missing. Cleaned and polished. The plastic is sturdy and vibrant; there are slight, superficial vintage heat marks on the circular base (likely from an ashtray resting on it), softened by restoration and visible only up close, as shown in the detailed photos.
