The girl with the blue bodice by Antoine Rodondi

Panel oil -Dimensions 39.5 x 28 cm- with frame: 52 x 42 cm. The artist stages a young girl picking flowers on a terrace opening onto a country landscape in a pastel palette and a lot of freshness, freedom in the touch, Antoine Rodondi is active in the south of France, especially around Marseille at the end of the 19th century. He exhibited at the Society of Fine Arts. The Detaille gallery in Marseille organized a retrospective of his works in 1936.
