The slender structure of this Scandinavian floor lamp from the 1950s rises from a tripod base, with two long black-painted metal stems extending to different heights. The conical white fabric shades emphasise the vertical, slightly diverging movement of the composition, while a gilt metal coil detail at the base of the stems creates a subtle contrast with the black structure. The base still bears the SEMKO “S” mark, the Swedish certification indicating that the electrical appliance complied with the safety requirements in force at the time.
