Leather and beechwood armchair by Noboru Nakamura for Ikea, 1990s

This lounge chair features a beech wood cantilever frame that holds a piece of braided leather that conforms the seating and back. It was designed by noboru nakamura for ikea, and it was produced on a limited edition. The cantilever design gives a slight swinging that feels very relaxing. Regarding the condition, the frame is sturdy and the leather is firm, some wear is present consistent with age and use which gives to the chair a nice vintage look.
