Medici garden vase in faience of Nevers signed 19th century

Imposing nevers earthenware planter from the montagnon factory, entirely hand-painted in the rouen spirit. The original handles, are in the shape and decoration of mascaron whose face is that of a man with ram's horn. The bottom of the pot is pierced to allow the flow of excess water. Period: late nineteenth. Very good condition. Dimension: outer diameter: 49 cm (19.3'') Inner diameter: 31 cm (12.2'') Height: 40 cm (15.7'') Weight: 10kg.
