A large Japanese decorative bowl in fine porcelain, dating from the 1920s to the 1940s. This Imari/kinrande style design is decorated with revisited Chinese motifs: mythical birds (phoenixes), lotus flowers, golden scrolls, and a rich palette of blue, red, and gold. The decoration is hand-painted with remarkable finesse. The reverse features a six-character red stamp, typical of Japanese export pieces of this period: 大日本製 (“Dai Nippon Sei” – Made in Greater Japan). A remarkable object for a collection, a centerpiece, or a wall. Diameter: 36 cm Height: 16 cm Base diameter: 17 cm Weight: 3.58 kg Origin: Japan Period: circa 1920–1940 Condition: Excellent vintage condition – minor wear, no cracks or chips.
