"Heaven" floor lamp (02/054) by Angus Hutcheson for Ango World

A true luminous sculpture, the Heaven floor lamp is an iconic piece from the Ango World brand, founded by British designer Angus Hutcheson. This model (reference 02/054) perfectly embodies the organic and ethereal aesthetic of the brand. Unlike some models made from silk cocoons, the reference 02/054 "Heaven" is traditionally made from mulberry bark fibres. These fibres are sustainably harvested and then treated to become translucent. They are then hand-assembled onto a structure to create the "cloud" or organic nest appearance seen in your photo. Beneath the fibres lies a very fine structure made of stainless steel wires, welded one by one by artisans. This is what gives it its complex and airy shape. The base is made of brushed stainless steel. Its slenderness (tripod style) is designed to fade away, giving the impression that the diffuser is floating in the air. Once lit, the Heaven model emits a soft and warm light, filtered through the natural fibres, creating a soothing play of shadows and textures.
