This work is an enhanced engraving with the title "tools of gardening and agriculture". It shows various gardening tools such as pickaxes, trowels, a wooden wheelbarrow and a metal one, spades, forks, shovels, a rake... It is in the style of lucien dautrey, a french aquafortist born in 1851 and died in 1926. He was a pupil of charles courty (french engraver and illustrator) and félix bracquemond (french painter, engraver, ceramist, object decorator and engraver). He made his debut at the salon des artistes français in 1880 and was a member of the société des aquafortistes français.
