Superb 1970s coffee table in black lacquered wood, featuring a top with beveled corners. Its stepped structure creates a distinctive "staircase" effect, typical of the modernist design of this period. A central compartment serves as a built-in bar (to hold bottles and accessories), planter, or display area. Indeed, its previous owner added a removable green screen and a Plexiglas panel (see last photos). This model is commonly attributed to Willy Rizzo, a major figure in Italian design, known for his creations combining architectural lines and metallic finishes. A rare and decorative piece, perfect for a vintage or contemporary interior. Signs of wear to note (see detailed photos): a slight crack in the top (no detachment), a small dent on one of the edges (which we can conceal upon request with a little silver paint), and, of course, some micro-scratches and normal signs of use on the brushed stainless steel top. Please note that the only other similar coffee table on the site is priced at €2,600. Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have.
