The jumping chest of drawers or "chest of drawers à la ccressent" was invented around 1720 by the cabinetmaker charles cressent in the middle of the regency period. Wishing to stand out from the heavy and massive louis XIV style, he creates a tapered and graceful, almost airy shape. It is louis XVI style with bronze handles and dimensions that will allow it to fit everywhere. A classic with timeless clean shapes.
