J.Forest vintage glass globe 1950 world map - 37 cm

Antique world map lamp in glass, paper and chromed metal from the Forest, Girard et Barrère brand circa 1950 in good condition. The map is magnificent (very slightly browned here and there when lit), the colors are very vivid, it is in good condition for its age. It is not dated but we find the former colonies of North Africa. It is signed. The Art Deco style chromed metal base is impeccable. The electricity seems original, it works. It measures 37cm in height, 26cm in diameter, 28cm in depth.
