Orchies set of 6 yellow earthenware dessert plates with stencilled fruit decoration.

This superb dessert service is made of faience from the Saint-Amand - Moulin des Loups factory in Orchies in the north. In slipware, these plates feature a beautiful yellow colour on the rim and are adorned with relief fruits enhanced with stencilling. This lot includes: cherries, plums, hazelnuts, white currants, grapes, and apricots. They measure 19.5 cm in diameter. In generally good condition, they are signed in relief from the mill "ORCHIES". Note: there are defects in the enamel decorations.
