Designers: Franco Bettonica & Mario Melocchi. Origin: Italy, 1970s. Materials: Plastic. Dimensions: 11 × 10 × 10 cm. Designed in 1972 by Bettonica and Melocchi for Cini & Nils, the Cuboluce is part of the permanent collection of MoMA in New York. This example is an original model from the 1970s, not a reissue. It is in working condition. The plastic shows minor signs of aging consistent with the piece's age, with no visible cracks or dents. The switch integrated into the lid functions correctly.
