Pair of large Restoration style wall sconces from Lucien GAU - bronze

Beautiful pair of large wall sconces in Restoration style, by the famous French bronzier: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer from Faubourg Saint Antoine, Paris. Made in the second half of the 20th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding and green patina, in good condition; slight wear to the gilding in places on the arms and a few small touch-ups of green patina. The wall part features a large arrow. The arms are decorated with foliage, scrolls, and flowers. Electricity installed and tested, new wires (for E14 bulb). Cardboard candles, with some missing drips. They are stamped on the back: LG, for Lucien Gau (see last photo). Careful packaging guaranteed via Colissimo Recommended to your home.
