Large silver metal tray 75x40cm Goldsmith Poirier Dumonteil 1900

This magnificent oval tray is in silver metal made by the goldsmith poirier dumonteil in the 1900s. It is an old tray decorated with friezes of oves and darts on the edge and embellished with beautiful handles with leafy patterns. In silver metal, it bears the goldsmith's hallmark "dp" in diamond shape for poirier dumonteil and "50" for the weight of silver. In good general condition, I note scratches from use and traces of oxidation. There are deep scratches on the back and friction wear on the silver plating. Dimensions: 75 cm wide X 40 cm deep.
