Vintage shell wall candle holder

Wall sconce for decorative candle made from a composition of natural shells fixed to a support covered in ochre velvet. It is enhanced with a golden metal light arm with rockwork decoration, creating an original contrast between the marine world and baroque style. This piece evokes the handcrafted creations from the seaside that were very popular from the 1960s to the 1980s, often made by hand from collected shells and then assembled into unique decorative compositions.
