Oil on canvas flowers Flanders 1914

Old painting signed by Mannette Hermant de Keuster 1880 - 1957 in Antwerp. Exhibited in Brussels in 1914. Pale northern light on a bouquet of yellow and mauve flowers in subdued tones within a shadowy interior. Very gentle, almost silent presence framed in quality gilded wood. A charming painting. Canvas alone 32cm x 24.4cm. Framed: 38.5cm x 31cm. In good condition, with a chip under the lower moulding of the gilded wood - photos.
