Seven antique Limoges porcelain plates – CFH / GDM

A very beautiful set of 7 antique fine porcelain plates from Limoges, dating from the late 19th century. The plates feature an elegant and refined shape, with beautiful white porcelain and a delicate gilded finish. Only one of the seven plates bears the marking on the back CFH / GDM, associated with Charles Field Haviland and the manufacture Gérard, Dufraisseix & Morel, in Limoges. It is quite common for not all pieces in antique tableware sets to be systematically marked. Therefore, the absence of a mark on the other six plates is not unusual for this type of antique service. Condition: the 7 plates are free from cracks, chips, and repairs. However, they do show signs of wear and rubbing on the gilding, mainly due to age and use. These marks of time are visible in the photographs and contribute to the authentic charm of this antique set.
