Old wooden bench with backrest and armrests

Large antique wooden bench with a deep brown patina, featuring a slatted backrest and two armrests. A piece that is both simple and graphic, perfect around a farmhouse table, in an entrance hall, or at the foot of a bed. We love antique furniture that can change its role depending on where it is placed. With its length of 186 cm, this large bench offers a beautiful presence while maintaining a light silhouette thanks to its slatted backrest. Its straight lines, armrests, and dark brown hue give it a rather graphic character that allows it to easily step out of a purely rustic setting. Around a large wooden table, it replaces several chairs and immediately creates a friendly atmosphere. However, its total depth of only 36 cm also allows for it to be imagined in an entrance hall, along a wall, or at the foot of a bed. The wood shows variations in colour and signs of use that contribute fully to the charm of this antique piece.
