Pair of sculptural ceramic bookends design 70s

Pair of sculptural ceramic bookends. Design 70s-80s. Stylized women's silhouettes in glossy black enamelling ceramic. Mounting on bases depicting rocks with the texture of volcanic stone. Nice overall condition. Note some very rare defects of original enamelling in places (see photos and zoom). Some very rare and very discreet traces of common use at the bottom of a base (see photos and zoom). Each bookend is 19 cm high and 16.5 cm wide. The depths differ by half a centimeter: 10.5 cm deep for one bookend and 11 cm deep for the other. The price shown is for the pair of bookends. Very stable bookends with a total weight of 2.8 kg for the pair.
