Scandart high back yellow bouclé armchair 60s 70s midcentury vintage retro ercol

This high-backed yellow armchair, from english design studio scandart, is a wonderful example of mid-century european design - albeit from a company originally based in the furniture capital of england, high wycombe, in the 1960s. A refinished walnut wood frame houses a foam seat and high back, reupholstered in a hand-dyed mustard organic wool bouclé fabric from a scottish mill.
