A pair of beautiful religious medallions in Limoges porcelain, enamelled pâte sur pâte, depicting the Virgin and Christ in profile, antique from the early 20th century, circa 1900-1930, in Art Deco style. The Virgin bears a "Limoges" signature at the bottom, while the Christ medallion is unsigned. In the style of the work of Marcel Chaufriasse, without formal attribution. They are presented in their original circular gilded wooden frames. 14cm in diameter with the frames, approximately 11cm in diameter for the medallions alone, and 1.5cm thick. Very good overall condition, with slight natural wear to the gilding of the frames, creating a harmonious patina. Approximately 120g each.
