Set of 6 vintage flat plates Niderviller style Capron Vallauris

Very nice set of 6 vintage flat plates made of faience from Niderviller, dating from the 1970s. They feature a superb hand-painted botanical design in mustard yellow, grey, and black, with a very characteristic graphic style of that period. Their slightly irregular and organic shape gives them a lot of character, in a modernist spirit reminiscent of the creations from Vallauris and Roger Capron. The plates are intentionally not perfectly round, with a freeform typical of the design of the time. Overall good condition. Some small irregularities can be found on the back, related to the manufacturing process, visible in the photos. Dimensions: approximately 25 cm in diameter. Total weight: approximately 3 kg.
