Brutalist Ferro Art wall sconces in wrought iron – Spain, 1970s

Rare pair of wall sconces from the 1950s/60s signed Ferro Art, a famous Spanish workshop known for its remarkable wrought iron work. Made of hammered wrought iron, they feature a geometric design typical of the brutalist movement with a beautiful original patina. Their sculptural silhouette adds character whether they are lit or unlit. Their size (51 cm in height) gives them an elegant presence without being imposing. They naturally fit into a contemporary, wabi-sabi, Danish, Mediterranean, or refined country house interior. The Ferro Art marking is present on the back of each sconce. Electrified. Sold as is.
