Antique pressed glass and silver-plated jug – Decorative wine pitcher H30 cm

Elegant antique jug combining a thick glass body and an ornate silver-plated mount. The slender body features a rich geometric relief decoration composed of star-shaped rosettes and vertical lines. The upper part is adorned with a spout, a hinged lid with neoclassical decoration, and a finely crafted large handle. The mechanism allows the lid to be lifted from the handle. Its refined silhouette recalls the old wine jugs, table carafes, and service pitchers of the Napoleon III style. A particularly decorative piece, ideal for a display cabinet, on a sideboard, an antique bar, or at the centre of a table. Generally in good condition for an antique item. The glass appears intact in the photographs. The metal shows a patina, small signs of use, and visible internal oxidation, indicating its age. Sold as is, in accordance with the photos.
