XL Selandia Art Glass Bowl by Per Lütken for Holmegaard / Royal Copenhagen

This beautiful bowl is a famous Danish design called "Selandia". It was designed in 1957 by Per Lütken, one of the most famous glass artists from Denmark. This is the XL model, which is the biggest and most impressive size of the series. It has a unique, natural shape that looks like a moving wave. It has smooth, flowing lines and a strong, round base. It is made of heavy, high-quality crystal glass and was shaped by hand (mouth-blown). This specific bowl has a blue Royal Copenhagen Crystal sticker. This means it was made between 1985 and the early 1990s, after the Holmegaard glass factory joined together with Royal Copenhagen. This bowl is in a very good condition, with some signs of age and use.
