Elegant Louis XVI period mirror, made of carved and gilded wood, dating from the late 18th century. The openwork pediment is richly decorated with symbolic attributes typical of the Louis XVI style: laurel crown, lyre, torch, quiver, ribbons, and floral motifs. The mirror is fitted with its original mercury glass, offering the ripples, pitting, and slight alterations that give antique mirrors their charm. The frame shows a beautiful patina with wear, small losses, and signs of restoration.
