Vintage village landscape painting – Oil on canvas signed – 1960s-70s

Characteristics. Dimensions: 53 X 63 X 3.5 cm. Colour: Multicoloured. Materials: Canvas, wood. Style: Vintage. Description. Oil painting depicting a village landscape with colourful houses, signed at the bottom left. The work stands out for its expressive touch and a particularly decorative palette blending brick red, deep blue, green, and pink, giving this rural scene a very graphic aesthetic. The deliberately simplified treatment of the buildings and the flat areas of colour give it a resolutely modern character, in the spirit of painting from the second half of the 20th century. Presented in its original frame dressed in beige canvas, highlighted with golden mouldings and a white inner frame. A unique and highly decorative piece, ideal for a living room, a bedroom, or as part of a wall composition of old and vintage paintings.
