Large rectangular antique mirror to stand on, patinated gold frame – 162 x 82 cm

This large antique mirror is distinguished by its elegant gilded wooden frame, patinated by time. Rectangular in shape, it measures approximately 162 cm in height and 82 cm in width. The frame has original gilding that is worn and marked in places, testifying to prolonged use and authentic charm. There are some visible losses in the lower corners as well as scratches, flaking, and surface irregularities, particularly on the lower right edge. The glass shows traces of oxidation and micro-scratches, but retains a beautiful reflective capacity. The back is made of large original wooden planks, fixed in the old-fashioned way, reinforcing its antique and probably artisanal character. This mirror could date from the beginning to the first half of the 20th century. It is an ideal decorative piece to place on the floor against a wall in an entrance hall, living room, or bedroom looking for a vintage feel.
