Beautiful small oil on vergé paper, in the impressionist style. Small scratches in the centre of the work (see photos). Signed on the reverse of the paper with an inscription in ink: "Executed by my Father Henri Rosier 1854-1921. M. Rosier... At the end of the ponds of Ville d’Avray." Dimensions visible: W. 17cm x H. 11.5cm. Framed under glass: W. 27.3cm x H. 22cm x 1.6cm thick. This painting represents a landscape dear to the painter Camille Corot (1796-1875), who lived near the ponds of Ville-d'Avray and painted many works there.
