String Shelving System, Designed by Nisse Strinning, 1949. Classic String wall-mounted shelving system, designed by Swedish designer Nisse Strinning in 1949. Its timeless, minimalist design features slender black metal side panels and four height-adjustable teak shelves. The modular system allows the shelf heights to be adjusted as needed. The warmly grained teak provides an elegant contrast to the slim metal sides and highlights the piece’s Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern character.
