Postmodern halogen floor lamp from the 1980s - Italian style

With a strong architectural and graphic design, this original floor lamp from the 1980s is fully in line with the Italian postmodern movement (in the style of productions by Arelux Milano or the Memphis group). Its openwork structure made of black metal mesh features a visible twisted cable at its centre, topped with a geometric "V" head that diffuses warm indirect lighting towards the ceiling. Structure: Geometric column made of original black lacquered steel wire. Reflector: V-shaped profile head in black metal for halogen pencil bulb (R7s). Electricity: Equipped with its period floor dimmer Varylight (Made in Italy — Art. D9) and fitted with a recent foot switch for safe use. Base: Rectangular heavy metal base ensuring excellent stability. In very good original condition. Minor signs of use and slight wear on the paint of the base and reflector, very consistent with its age. Works perfectly.
